4 Proven Steps to Becoming More Resilient Subtitle: Transform Yourself and Become Unstoppable with the Right Mindset

Resilience is the ability to recover from difficult situations and bounce back with strength, energy and enthusiasm. Often

times, life can feel chaotic and overwhelming. But, with the right strategies and techniques, you can become more resilient, no matter how tough life’s challenges may be. For those seeking transformation, there are various methods to become more resilient.

Here are four of the most effective ways to develop a strong mindset, increase self-confidence, and take control of life’s obstacles.

          1. Develop Self-Awareness The first step to becoming more resilient is to develop self-awareness. When you understand your feelings and thoughts, you can have better control over your behavior and reactions. Knowing your weaknesses and strengths will help you take control of difficult situations and make better decisions. A great way to gain self-awareness is to practice mindfulness. Meditation and journaling can help you become more aware of yourself and your surroundings. Additionally, it is important to understand your triggers, so you can develop healthy strategies to manage your emotions.

I love meditation personally, and tend to meditate daily for about 20-30 minutes on average. It leaves me feeling relaxed, clearer and calmer inside. Meditation allows you to leave the daily stresses behind and focus on your inner world. It can be used in creativity and problem solving. Sometimes I have meditated on a question which I ask myself prior to meditation. The answer may come out during the meditation or in the days proceeding it.

          2. Foster Healthy Relationships The support of loved ones is essential for resilience. It is important to foster healthy relationships with family, friends and colleagues. Having positive relationships can help reduce stress and can help you become more resilient. Additionally, if you are looking to increase your self-confidence and become more resilient, look to find a mentor or a mind coach. A mentor or coach can help you by providing support and guidance, as well as help you achieve your goals.

A mind coach will also help you make more sense of why and how you self sabotage your life in areas through procrastination and avoidance.

          3. Take Action As the saying goes, “action speaks louder than words”. Taking action is important for becoming more resilient and gaining confidence. To become more resilient, you need to practice taking action and making decisions. Start by setting small goals and taking steps to accomplish them. This will help you build your self-confidence and increase your motivation. Additionally, you can start to challenge yourself with bigger tasks and take on greater responsibilities.

As the old Nike slogan says 'Just do it'.

          4. Reflect and Learn It is important to take time to reflect and learn from your experiences. When you reflect on difficult experiences, you can learn valuable lessons that can help you become more resilient in the future. When reflecting, ask yourself questions such as: What went well? What didn’t go well? What could I have done differently? How can I use this experience to become more resilient?

I call it the 5 at 5. At 5pm in the evening, ask yourself "What went well today? Five things?" This habit by itself may disperse doubts and worries, just by focussing on what's good about your day, rather than focussing on the negative.

Becoming more resilient can help you face life’s challenges with more energy and enthusiasm. By understanding yourself, building positive relationships, taking action and reflecting, you can become more resilient and take control of your life.

Resilience is something akin to a muscle. By continually working on it and developing it, this super power can enable you to reach our goals more rapidly as you overcome obstacles and challenges which would normally stop you.

Habits are automated behaviours which predetermine the choice of our decisions throughout the day. Unless we change them, we can effectively remain on autopilot all our life. Are habits difficult to change? Yes, and no... It depends on your motivation, emotional leverage and goals that you are looking to accomplish.

Developing new habits can be a challenging process, but it is essential for our personal development. Habits are learned behaviors that can help shape our lives and lead to better outcomes.

5 ways to start changing your habits today:

           1. Start small.

When trying to form a new habit, it is important to start with something manageable. Don’t try to make huge changes all at once; focus on smaller, more achievable goals. This will help build momentum and make the process easier.

            2. Set a schedule.

The best way to ensure new habits stick is to set a regular schedule. This could mean making sure you do something at the same time each day, or just ensuring you do it regularly. The more you stick to a specific routine, the more likely you are to form the habit.

            3. Track your progress.

Tracking your progress can help you stay motivated and accountable. Whether it’s writing down your successes each day or tracking your progress in a journal, it is important to monitor your habits and make sure you’re on the right track.

            4. Celebrate your successes.

Celebrating small successes is a great way to stay motivated and keep going. Every time you complete a task or reach a milestone, take a moment to celebrate it. This will help to keep you motivated and develop the habit further.

            5. Be patient.

Developing new habits can take time and it is important to be patient with the process. It is important to remain consistent and be willing to put in the work. If you are patient and consistent, you will eventually see the results. Developing new habits is a process that takes time and effort. But if you are willing to put in the work, you can create habits that will benefit you in the long run. Start small, set a schedule, track your progress, celebrate your successes, and be patient. With dedication and consistency, you can develop new habits that will help you reach your goals.

You can change your habits with patience, persistence and focus. It will take time. The estimated time is between 66 and 100 days (University College London 2009)

Reach out if you are looking for coaching and mentorship in moving forward.

Imposter syndrome is a psychological condition which can be overcome. When overcome, you feel lighter, happier and more confident; leading you to making better decisions in life.

Academy Award winning actress Kate Winslet confided: "I'd wake up in the morning before going off to a shoot, and think, I can’t do this; I’m a fraud." Fellow actor Don Cheadle shared a similar revelation: "All I can see is everything I'm doing wrong that is a sham and a fraud.

Self doubt and worrying about one's capabilities are a very common phenomenon amongst high performers and high achievers. This is commonly termed 'imposter syndrome' and is said to be on the rise.

What one has to be wary of is not that occasionally you may fear failing or feel 'not good enough', but that it may eventually affect your decision making skills and furthermore bring on anxiety and low moods.

With a fear of being found out, you may be constantly on your guard, wondering what people are thinking and looking for clues as to whether someone has unlocked your 'secret'.

You have thoughts which include the fact that everyone out there is so much more deserving, clever and accomplished than yourself. This dialogue revolves around quietly in the background of your subconscious mind until it becomes just the norm. Infact you believe it so strongly that whenever you enter a room, you immediately shrink in size mentally, as you wonder how you managed to get this far up the ladder.

Within your company you may have a team working for you, and often wonder how you got to the position you have reached. This feeling of unease has now become a daily occurrence.

Many people I have worked with have had what can be termed as 'imposter syndrome'. This can be one of the most debilitating feelings you experience as an individual. It can prevent you from achieving your goals, limit your potential, and leave you feeling like a fraud. But the good news is, it is possible to conquer imposter syndrome and live a life free of the fear of failure.

The first step to overcoming imposter syndrome is to remember that just because you are feeling this way, it doesn’t mean that it is true. You may feel like you are not good enough or that you don’t belong, but these feelings are not based in reality.

The second step to conquering this problem is to focus on the positives in your life. Don’t let negative thoughts and doubts take over your mind. Instead, focus on the things that you have achieved and the progress that you have made. Remind yourself of the skills and abilities that make you unique and valuable.

The third step is to practice self-compassion. It’s normal to feel scared or uncertain, and it’s ok to make mistakes. Don’t be too hard on yourself and try to be kind and understanding. Remind yourself that everyone experiences imposter syndrome at some point and that it’s ok to feel this way.

Finally, make it a point to surround yourself with positive, supportive people. Find people who can lift you up and help you remember your worth. These people can be a source of strength and inspiration when you are feeling down. Imposter syndrome can be a difficult feeling to deal with, but it doesn’t have to be permanent. With a little bit of effort and some self-compassion, it is possible to conquer it, and live a life free of fear and doubt.

You have the strength and courage to overcome imposter syndrome and live your best life.

We all want to feel good about ourselves and our place in the world. But sometimes, our self-esteem can suffer from negative thoughts and experiences. Whether it’s due to a past failure or a lack of confidence in our abilities, it’s important to take steps to boost our self-esteem.

          Here are

           five actionable ways

to raise your self-esteem and start living life to the fullest.

          1. Celebrate Your Wins: We all experience successes and failures throughout our lives, but it’s important to remember to celebrate your wins. Whenever you accomplish something that you’re proud of, take time to reflect and appreciate your success. Allow yourself to be proud of what you’ve achieved, no matter how small.

          2. Focus on Self-Care: Taking care of yourself is one of the best ways to boost your self-esteem. Make sure to set aside time for activities that bring you joy, such as reading, exercising, or even just taking a hot bath. Taking care of your physical and mental health will help you feel better about yourself.

          3. Challenge Negative Thoughts: We all have negative thoughts at times, but it’s important to challenge them. Whenever you’re feeling down, take a few minutes to write down your thoughts and challenge why you’re thinking that way. Self-reflection is a great way to boost your self-esteem.

          4. Surround Yourself With Positive People: Surrounding yourself with positive people can help boost your self-esteem. Spend time with people who make you feel good about yourself and who support your goals and dreams. Having a strong support system is essential for building self-esteem.

          5. Set Goals and Take Action: Setting realistic goals for yourself and taking action towards achieving them can help boost your self-esteem. Start small and set achievable goals that you can take steps towards. Achieving goals can help you feel more confident and capable.

These five strategies are a great way to start boosting your self-esteem. Remember to be kind to yourself and celebrate your wins, no matter how small. With a little effort and self-care, you can start feeling better about yourself and your place in the world.

The 5 Things Self Confident People Never Do

In this post you will learn 5 things that confident people do not do. Once you start following these confidence tips, you confidence can escalate.

(And you can stop doing starting today)

Confidence is an essential part of living an empowered life. It is the key to feeling at ease in social settings, having the courage to take risks, and ultimately, to reaching our goals. Unfortunately, many of us struggle with confidence and struggle to practice the habits that will help us develop it.

As a mind coach, I work with many people who struggle to build their confidence. One of the best ways to learn how to be more confident is to observe what confident people do and don’t do. Here are the five things that confident people don’t do.

           1.

They Don’t Compare Themselves to Others

: Confident people understand that comparing themselves to others is a surefire way to diminish their self-worth. Instead of comparing themselves to others, they focus on their own journey and progress.

            2.

They Don’t Dwell on Their Mistakes

: Confident people understand that mistakes are inevitable. They learn from them, but they don’t dwell on them. They know that dwelling on their mistakes prevents them from moving forward.

            3.

They Don’t Let Fear Dictate Their Actions

: Confident people recognize that fear is a natural part of life and they don’t let it prevent them from taking risks and going after their goals.

            4.

They Don’t Seek Approval from Others

: Confident people are comfortable in their own skin and don’t need to seek approval from others in order to feel good about themselves.

            5.

They Don’t Dwell on the Negative

: Confident people understand that dwelling on the negative only serves to create more negative thoughts and feelings. Instead, they focus on the positive and use it as a source of motivation.

These are just a few of the habits that confident people don’t engage in. If you’re looking to build your confidence, start by observing what confident people do and don’t do. This will help you develop the habits that will help you become more confident.

At the end of the day, confidence is something that you can build with practice and dedication. It starts with understanding what confident people do and don’t do and then implementing those habits into your life.

With consistency, you can build the confidence you need to live an empowered life.
